Alleluia! He is risen!. Easter is the culmination of our liturgical year, the single most important feast day of all the church year and the holiest of days. We celebrate Christ's victory over sin and death by his resurrection and the opening of the gates of heaven for man. Like Christmas, Easter is not just one day - it is a season filled with many feast days and celebrations.
