Project Rachel is a healing ministry for those who suffer as a result of a previous abortion experience.
Suffering is the untold story of abortion. Grief after abortion is normal — it is the grief of a mother who has lost a child in a traumatic way; it is the grief of lost fatherhood. We are here to help you experience the hope and healing of Christ through Project Rachel.
Project Rachel is a ministry of the Diocese of Austin Office of Pro-Life. It is a compassionate and confidential ministry that helps women and men suffering emotionally and spiritually from the trauma of abortion. The Church opens her arms to those who suffer due to a past abortion and offers a safe place to be reconciled with God and their lost children. By offering a safe place for those suffering to be reconciled with God and his Church. Project Rachel helps those suffering after their abortion or the abortion of a loved one experience mercy, forgiveness, and peace. Project Rachel extends God's unconditional love and forgiveness to those living in their own personal torment from the tragedy of abortion.
Project Rachel offers: counseling with a priest, weekend retreats, support groups and private counseling. Lay counselors, lay volunteers, deacons and priests are available to work with post-abortive women and men. Project Rachel Retreats are offered on weekends for post-abortive men and women. The retreats are held at confidential locations.
